I read many of the bad reviews and am concerned that some of you are using this site as a sounding board because you do not like animals being sold in a pet store. The problem is that if you have to lie, what is the real reason? As for some of you who are complaining that your dog had Parvo, well that may be so, but understand that Parvo is so common and you can bring that virus in from anywhere, even a breeder, a vet , or a groomer. It is easily taken care of with antibiotics.

I want to shed some light on my experience with Petland. We purchased 5 dogs from Petland from 2007 till as recent as March. Every single dog is awesome. DId they issues?Just the typical. We did have 2 with kennel cough, no big deal, happens. Our recent Old English sheepdog had a urinary infection-also common-and Bill took care of the vet bill. Let me assure you, we are not friends, family, or workers of Petland or their employees. My husband and I are both professionals with no reason to lie. I don’t usually write reviews, but I am hoping that my post will set some of you at ease for buying a dog at Petland.

Years ago we purchased 2 dogs from a breeder and both dogs had serious health issues-my dogs from Petland are very healthy.
Also, you cannot expect any dog to be trained unless you personally make the effort to work with the dog. Bad behavior can happen even if you buy from a breeder.
So, in closing, I am so happy to give this glowing review and every word of it is true. I want to thank the owner and employees of Petland for doing an amazing job! Haters are going to hate, unfortunately.
