Facility & Animal Care Technician – Join Our Petland Robinson Team
Are you an early bird who loves animals and takes pride in keeping things clean and organized? Join our team as a Facility & Animal Care Technician and play an essential role in maintaining a healthy, welcoming environment for our pets and customers.
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for the cleanliness of the store and the daily care of our small animals. Working before store hours, you’ll ensure everything is clean, stocked, and organized for the day ahead.
What We Offer:
- Starting At: $13.00 per hour with opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize animal habitats
- Feed and monitor the health of small animals
- Mop floors, dust surfaces, and maintain overall store cleanliness
- Unpack and put away inventory
- Organize stockrooms and sales floor areas
- Follow checklists and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- Must be detail-oriented and able to stay on task
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Comfortable handling and caring for small pets (hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, etc.)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Available to work early morning shifts before store opening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
